I have an established aquarium with fish and would like to introduce live plants. I want to ensure the process is safe for my fish and beneficial for the plants. What steps should I follow to successfully add live plants without disrupting the tank’s balance?
I want to include live plants to my aquarium which already has fish in it, how do I do it?

Just did this last month! My biggest tip is DON’T bury the rhizome of plants like Anubias or Java Fern. They will rot if you do.
If you have fish that love to dig (looking at you, cichlids), try plants that don’t need to be planted—like floating plants (Amazon Frogbit, Duckweed) or ones that attach to hardscapes like Java Fern and Moss.
