Remove snails from a fish tank
I second the veggie method! Works like a charm and it's kind to the snails. Just be sure to wash the vegetables thoroughly to avoid introducing any pesticides or chemicals into your tank.

I've used bentonite clay for my small pond. It's a natural material that swells when wet, creating a waterproof barrier. It works great, but can be a bit more difficult to setup.

I've been using conditioned tap water for years without issues. Just treat it with a good dechlorinator.
